With only three more episodes left in this season of one of the funniest shows on television, we were excited to get an exclusive one-on-two with Joel McHale (Jeff Winger) and Gillian with a hard "G" Jacobs (Britta Perry) to talk about what's in store in the two-part finale -- a follow-up to one of their most popular episodes -- as well as what we might see down the road. We probably should have asked the show's writers about that last bit, but it's always fun to hear what two really funny people think should happen to their characters. Writers, take note.

So, last night's double-sized Season finale of Desperate Housewives finally resolved the season-long Creepy Dave storyline, while introducing a few new ones. For starters, Bree and Karl are hooking up, because apparently Bree's life isn't complicated enough. Also, Lynette and Tom are pregnant with another set of twins, because they apparently don't use birth control while on a monthlong relationship-strengthening sex marathon. The most preposterous development in all of this, however, is that Gaby and Carlos have taken in Carlos's orphaned niece, Ana, who's been staying with Carlos's aunt, because his aunt has a heart condition and can't take care of her anymore. Except the girl turns out to be a manipulative flirt, who gets the Scavo twins to do her chores, her various boyfriends to buy her nice dresses and Carlos to take her side when she cries after Gaby yells at her. Does any of this sound familiar?

Having really only gotten into Desperate Housewives this season, and not really having any investment in any of the regular characters, the biggest thing that keeps me looking forward to each new episode is Ol' Blue Eyes, Neal McDonough. As "Creepy" Dave Williams, new husband to Edie Britt and widower to the woman (and child) who died in Mike and Susan's car accident, McDonough has been a portrait in deranged malevolence each week, insinuating himself in the lives of his new neighbors and throwing vague suspicion off of himself by driving away Mrs. McCluskey, not to mention framing Porter Scavo. But judging by the way he talks to his dead family with increasing frequency, and the fact that the season has to end sometime, we expect some serious stuff to go down pretty soon. Here's a few ways we think he's gonna get revenge.

Fans of dinosaurs, Scottish accents and pixyish female members of S Club 7 walking around in their underwear have likely already discovered Primeval on BBC America. The Brit import features oversized bugs and reptiles from not only the past, but the future, as well -- all transported here via mysterious time portals to menace the general populace of England. (Yes, just England. If Torchwood can take place entirely in Cardiff, this show can limit itself to one island.) If you haven't been watching it, then you may not be aware that the first U.S. season (technically, the second British series, but since British series are only six or seven episodes long, BBC America combined them) ends Saturday night at 9:00, and it should be pretty awesome. After all, Episode 6 (the first British series' finale) featured the show's first futuristic predator, and ended with the main character changing history and turning his sensible love interest into a tarted-up tramp... which may or may not have been on purpose, now that we think about it.
