Finally, I can make a "Is that your final answer?" joke again and have it be topical!

Two and a Half Men is somehow still managing to stay in the headlines, even post-Charlie Sheen.

Congratulations! It's a... well, it's two final season collections, a cartoon special and a volume of Secret Life. If you were waiting for some good TV to come out on DVD today so you could get it for your TV-loving friend for the holidays, you're out of luck.

Annals Of Stuntcasting, Hollywood To TWoP: Hello There!
Robert Knepper and Ray Park Reveal Their Plan to Save HeroesAfter the last couple of seasons, which have been uneven at best, we weren't really sure what could be done to get us interested in Heroes again. Well, consider us interested. This season, the Heroes cross paths with some sinister circus folk, including a folksy Robert Knepper (T-Bag from Prison Break) and a knife-wielding Ray Park (Darth Maul and Snake Eyes). The pair got on a conference call recently to talk to us about their characters, and we were treated to two awesome stories from Knepper -- about scaring people on elevators and hanging out with Christopher Walken -- and the startling revelation that Park once wanted to be Teen Wolf. Our minds have been blown. Read for yourself after the jump.

So G4 made a big deal this weekend about the fact that they were airing a panel from the San Diego Comic-Con on TV. It was a landmark event. Or something. I mean, in theory it's cool for us poor schmucks who don't get a chance to go to Comic-Con, but maybe this panel wasn't the one to start with. I get why they did it -- the mega-Star Wars franchise has been a part of Comic-Con since the '70s -- but now that there aren't any Star Wars movies coming out, they're pretty boring. I had the (dis)pleasure of sitting through one at the New York Comic-Con, and it had about 10 minutes of entertainment (in the form of the Robot Chicken guys) and 50 minutes of snooze-inducing content (everything else). That didn't bode well for this two-hour special.

It's another one of those sad days. On the plus side, I can be the one billionth blogger today to say "heaven just got another angel" with zero irony.

Judging Strangers, Notes and Comment, Very Bad Things
My Last Reason to Care About Star Wars Has Been DestroyedHey, remember when George Lucas said that he was going to make a live-action Star Wars TV series? Remember how excited everyone was? I'm not even a big Star Wars fan anymore, and yet I was beyond psyched about getting to visit this rich world of characters on a weekly basis. I hate the prequels, and I could care less about the cartoons, but for some reason I had it in my head that this TV show, which would reportedly feature bounty hunters and would take place before the original trilogy, could be a return to what was great about the franchise in the first place. Then the Clone Wars cartoon stretched into a second season, and an animated comedy series was announced, and no progress seemed to get made on the live-action show. Well, now it's "on hold." Um, excuse me?

Hollywood To TWoP: Hello There!
Sulu Does Star Wars: George Takei Talks Star Trek, Clone Wars and HeroesFor years, Star Trek and Star Wars have maintained a safe distance from each other, only meeting up in fan-made mash-up videos on YouTube. But in this new age of hope, a bridge has been built, and that bridge's name is George Takei. The actor who played Sulu in the original Trek series and in six feature films will be voicing a character in this Friday's episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a first for both franchises. We sat in on a Q&A with the actor to find out what it was like on the Dark Side of sci-fi, as well as what's coming up for him on Heroes.
