It's almost better when you've got no idea what these people are talking about. Here we present the week's best out of context quotes plucked straight from reality television.

Annals Of Fantasy Stuntcasting, Really Ridiculous Reality Shows, We Should Totally Be TV Execs
Scripted/Reality TV Crossovers We Want to SeeThis week, the chefs on Top Chef Masters have to cater a meal for the cast of Modern Family. We're not sure that the sitcom's cast is really known for their critiques of high-end food, but we love the actors so much that we're willing to just go with it. And the whole idea got us thinking of other ways we'd like to see scripted and reality programs collide.

Annals Of Fantasy Stuntcasting, Character Corner
Top Chef Masters: Fictional Contestants We'd Like to SeeAfter five seasons of pitting unknown chefs against each other to see who can make the fewest stupid cooking mistakes, Top Chef is mixing things up and pitting world renowned chefs against each other! Hopefully, there will be a lot fewer stupid mistakes, since by now these people have probably made them all, and we can get down to seeing who is actually a better chef. But we have one problem. Are any of these chefs better than Lafayette from True Blood? Or Ned from Pushing Daisies? We compiled a list of our favorite fictional chefs to see how each would do under the pressures of the Top Chef competition.

I kinda like Top Chef Masters. I know I'm pretty much a table of one on that sentiment, but not every damn thing has to be some desperately cutthroat competition to be entertaining. These people are good at cooking, and when asked to do some really difficult challenges within a tough time frame for charities they are passionate about they consistently come up with impressive dishes. That's all I expected from this show, and that's what I'm getting. The stakes aren't as high as they are in Top Chef O.G., but I'm still into it.

Every year we start to get excited this time in mid-August because the crisp smell of fall TV is in the air. And while not all that many of the fall shows actually look promising, it's got to be better than most of the dreck that we've been stuck watching since June. This summer in particular seems to have had a lot of duds and disappointments (and very few highlights), so we're extra excited for it to be over. Here's why.

Today we learn about Top Chef Masters contestants, the final judge for The Voice, and a few other things we didn't realize we didn't already know.
