It's Tuesday, which means we'll see if Idol decides to take my suggestions to slim down... a girl can dream, can't she? Anyway, there's lots of random things happening in the world, not really any of them that are good or interesting.
There's chatter about pretty much all of the Idol judges leaving, except Randy; he knows he's got the easiest job on television, there's no way he'd leave until they drag him out of there. Anyway, the rumor mill today is saying that they don't plan on canning Kara, that Paula's contract is up after this year so she might leave, and Simon might ditch the show to do an Americanized version of X-Factor. I doubt anything will change, but that's what's out there.
I thought I was free from Debra Messing since The Starter Wife ended, but now she's got some sort of pilot deal for an NBC comedy. It's the timely topic of a laid-off CEO becoming a stay-at-home mom. Fantastic. One less thing for me to worry about watching.
According to Joss Whedon, Dollhouse isn't dead, even though Fox isn't airing the thirteenth episode. I still wouldn't advise holding your breath.
Someone was surprised that Lauren Conrad needed an acting coach to read her lines for her Family Guy guest stint. The only thing that surprises me is that Family Guy actually cared how she sounded.
It's the end of the world as we know it. Seriously. I'm concerned. The Chenbot is having a baby. I didn't even know that robots could procreate. But thankfully her pregnancy won't affect her hosting of Big Brother. I cannot wait to see her maternity wardrobe! It will be insane.
They are making a CSI movie, according to William Petersen. Guess that whole theater thing didn't work out like he planned. Anyway, judging by the picture on this story, Grissom got old, so I'm hoping it won't be all Sara/Grissom romance stuff.
The Superstars show that I wrote about a while back is coming to fruition. It is the biggest non-celeb celebrity show of all time. In fact, I had a really hard time figuring out who the celebrities were and who the athletes were. I'm going on record that I hate this already.
Some people decided that Doctor Who had the best sci fi theme song of all time. Agreed!
