It's a slow yet kind of hilarious day for TV news.
American Idol has caved to its suckiness and is now asking viewers to voice their opinions of the show. While I think this is a cool idea, I'm glad that other shows don't do this, because the last thing we need is for Lost shippers to petition to have Kate and Sawyer back together.
Burt Reynolds is taking a break from Celebrity Jeopardy to guest star on Burn Notice.
In True Blood news, British actress Lara Pulver has joined the cast as Claudine, Sookie's fairy godmother. While Pulver is beautiful, I'm not sure she's quite hot enough for a fairy-anything role, but time will tell. Also, 90210's Michael Steger will guest star as a gay prostitute this season, so there's that.
And more things are happening, including, but not limited to:
-NBC adding drama Chase to its lineup. The show looks pretty generic, but at least we can all look forward to Perez Hilton making fun of Jesse Metcalfe again!
-Happy Town being demoted to ABC's summertime slot-- not that we're complaining.
-Her Holiness Iman replacing Kelly Rowland as co-host of Bravo's The Fashion Show.
-MTV ordering a US version of the UK Skins, because if there's one thing teenagers don't have enough of, it's sex.
And finally, I'll let you pick today's womp-wompiest news. Choose between Pretty Wild (ugh) "star" Alexis Neiers getting sentenced to six months in jail, or Tyra Banks writing some stupid book. Tough call!
