Stop what you're doing and read this exciting Torchwood news!
Torchwood has been renewed and will have a three-way co-production partnership with BBC Cymru Wales, BBC Worldwide and Starz. The next season will have storylines expanded beyond Cardiff, Wales, to locations in the U.S. and around the globe. This is also great news for Party Down, since Torchwood will surely bring in more Starz subscribers and potential fans for the comedy series. Wins all around!
In much hokier news, Simon Cowell is planning to produce World's Got Talent next year, starring 20 winning acts from more than 80 countries currently staging Got Talent shows.

NCIS' Pauley Perrette has just signed a new multi-year deal to remain on the series, and it's looking like the rest of the cast's stragglers will soon follow. Yay for keeping the happy family together!
In Emmy news, 24's Cherry Jones has taken her name off the ballot, while Terry O'Quinn has put himself back in the running. Now that I've used their names together in the same sentence, the two of them should totally go on a show together! They'd make a handsome TV couple, don't you think?
And finally, for some God-awful reason, Matthew McConaughey and his production company (that's actually called J.K. Livin) are teaming up with FX for a comedy project. Just...ugh.
