After reports Howard Stern was in talks to replace Piers Morgan on America's Got Talent, Stern announced this morning he will join the show as a someone who will actually judge the contestants. The Parents Television Council is of course in a tizzy over the announcement that will go nowhere because Stern = ratings. And prank phone calls.
Psych will return for the second half of its sixth season on February 29. The season's last seven episodes will feature tributes to The Shining (cool!), Chinatown (makes sense) and... The Bachelorette. What?
Jane Fonda will recur on Aaron Sorkin's HBO series, which is unofficially titled Newsroom. Fonda will play Leona Lansing, the CEO of the cable news network's parent company whose concerns often conflict with the reporting of the news outlet. Uhh, Ted Turner, anybody?
Clint Eastwood is currently filming a reality show for E! with his family that will explore what it is like to live as "Hollywood royalty." Why, Clint, why?!?!
Leonardo DiCaprio will produce Beat the Reaper, a mafia-themed medical drama about an ER doctor forced to face his organized crime past that will certainly fill its drama quotient. I smell awards for this one already.
Janice Dickinson is launching Sober Model House, which is exactly what it sounds like: Janice sticks a bunch of models who desperately need to get sober together in a London home and gives them the "tools" to get clean. Are they sure the right person is in charge of this?
Jennie Garth is getting her own reality show, I Love Jennie. The show focuses on Garth, husband Peter Facinelli, and their kids moving to a farm in Central California. At least there will be some cute animals to look at.
The next season of The Biggest Loser will have family members in teams of two compete against each other for the grand prize. Those family dinners are certainly going to be awkward.
