Who cares about the 24 movie now that Homeland is a thing and Touch is about to start?
Just in case you do, Kiefer Sutherland broke the news that the 24 movie will start shooting in April, and that it will not be shooting in the show's traditional real-time format, instead covering a 24-hour period... unless Jack Bauer is fighting terrorists on a far away planet where time moves REALLY fast.
Desperate Housewives will be killing off one of their "major characters" before the season finale... which I, right now, am calling total B.S. on because this show has been doing this for eight seasons. The victim will probably be the underused, never-seen Karen McCluskey, one of the ladies' family members or -- at the very worst -- Renee. Mark my bitter words that there's no way Cherry would give off one of the original main four.
NBC picked up a few pilots. In no particular order, the selling points of the shows include a "charming sportscaster," a radio station co-hosted by an "alpha male" and a "feminist," former high school "mean girls," a veterinarian who hates humans, man-children and an untitled comedy from a Community writer.
TLC is working on a show about plus-size fashion, instead of simply bringing back Big Sexy. It's being executive produced by What Not to Wear's Stacy London, though.
And finally, our hearts go out to the family of Dick Tufeld, who died peacefully on Sunday at the age of 85 years old. Tufeld was most famous for voicing the robot from Lost in Space.
