While his political career on Heroes didn't go as smoothly as planned, Adrian Pasdar is giving government service another try. The actor will star as the U.S. President himself in the USA Network's upcoming series Political Animals, which will premiere on July 15. The rest of the cast includes Sigourney Weaver as a former First Lady and Carla Gugino as an ambitious Beltway journalist.
Turns out Voice finalist Tony Lucca is as bemused by Christian Aguilera's obvious dislike of him as the rest of us. In an interview, the ex-Mousketeer said "It seems she's harboring some legitimate and hardcore resentment that I didn't figure." Maybe she's just pissed that he covered "Baby One More Time" and not "Genie in a Bottle."
While Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are coming back, one person who won't be returning for another round of Two and a Half Men is showrunner and co-creator, Lee Aronsohn. He'll be replaced by writer/producers Don Reo and Jim Patterson. Ten bucks says that tiger blood was somehow involved in his exit.
Finally, Lifetime has unveiled a brand new logo and tagline: "You're life. Your time." We're surprised that they didn't take a tip from all those racy Client List ads and go with "Bigger than Life" over a photo of Jennifer Love Hewitt's rack. That's the way you get ratings.
