Okay, so yes, How I Met Your Mother has been renewed for a ninth season, but it will be the series' last. I'm so happy and so horribly sick of this show, I can't even bring myself to make a "maybe we'll finally meet the mother" comment.

Some notable pilot news today: Fox ordered a pilot about an undercover gang member and one about an aircraft carrier from Justified Executive Producer Graham Yost; TLC is planning a Kitchen Nightmares rip-off with Cake Boss Buddy Valastro; Ke$ha is getting a docuseries on MTV (hope you're out of jail in time to watch it!); CBS is plotting some kind of lie detector reality show; and ABC has a few projects in the works, one almost literally serving as a giant Disneyland commercial (yes, another one).
