Is this what bringing sexy back looks like?
Even though his BFF Andy Samberg is long gone, Justin Timberlake will be returning to Studio 8H on March 9 to host Saturday Night Live. Can we expect a Robin and Barry Gibb reunion? One week earlier, on March 2, Kevin Hart will stop by SNL bringing the show's total African-American population up to 3... the largest its been in some time, actually.
In "Thank Goodness" news, Will Arnett puts the Up All Night disaster in the rearview, signing up to headline Greg Garcia's untitled CBS comedy about a divorced guy dealing with his about-to-be-divorced parents. That leaves Maya Rudolph as the last Night star standing. Anyone ready for The Ava Show?
The pilot casting reports just keeps on coming. First, Daniel Stern emerges from hiding to play Christina Ricci's father in the NBC comedy, Girlfriend in a Coma. Elsewhere, Rockmond Dunbar lands a gig on ABC's Doubt, Peter Cambor will play Krysten Ritter's boyfriend on NBC's Assistance, Marc Blucas will test his mettle against some of ABC's Killer Women and Nichole Beharie boards Fox's Hollow, a modern-day reimagining of Sleepy Hollow (no... not the Tim Burton movie -- the original Washington Irving short story).
VH1 picks up three more reality series, The Gossip Game (about gossip journalists), I'm Married To A... (profiles of unlikely married couples) and the five-part televised list 100 Sexiest Artists (title self-explanatory... although it should be noted that "Artists" refers to musicians rather than people who play with paint and/or clay).
